Dual Radar Synthetic Aperture Radar
Dual radar synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems leverage the complementary strengths of multiple radar sensors to enhance imaging and object detection capabilities. Current research focuses on fusing dual-radar data with other sensor modalities, such as optical imagery and lidar, employing machine learning models (including convolutional neural networks) and advanced signal processing techniques like generalized likelihood ratio tests to improve accuracy and robustness in challenging conditions. These advancements are significantly impacting autonomous driving, remote sensing applications (e.g., precision agriculture, marine vessel monitoring), and enhancing the overall performance of radar-based systems.
