Dual Task
Dual-task research investigates the cognitive and computational challenges of performing two tasks concurrently. Current research focuses on understanding how task characteristics (e.g., complexity, interdependence) influence performance, employing models like linear dynamical systems and graph-based neural networks to analyze human behavior and optimize task allocation in both human-robot and purely computational settings. This work has implications for improving human-computer interaction, designing more efficient robotic systems, and enhancing natural language processing models, particularly in areas like multi-intent dialogue understanding and text generation.
