Electric Vehicle Battery

Electric vehicle battery research centers on accurately predicting battery health and remaining useful life to optimize performance, safety, and sustainability. Current efforts leverage machine learning, particularly neural networks and Gaussian processes, to analyze sensor data (voltage, current, temperature) and predict battery state, enabling improved battery management systems and predictive maintenance. This work is crucial for extending battery lifespan, facilitating efficient recycling and reuse strategies, and ultimately accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles by improving their reliability and reducing environmental impact.
