Emotion Lexicon
Emotion lexicons are structured collections of words and their associated emotional values, used to computationally analyze and understand the emotional content of text. Current research focuses on improving lexicon accuracy and integration with advanced machine learning models, such as transformers (e.g., BERT, RoBERTa), to enhance sentiment analysis and emotion detection across diverse languages and domains, including applications in mental health analysis and literary studies. This work is significant for its potential to improve the accuracy and efficiency of emotion recognition in various fields, from automated psychotherapy to large-scale literary analysis, offering valuable insights into human behavior and communication.
