Emotional Pattern
Emotional pattern research focuses on identifying and modeling how emotions manifest in various data modalities, primarily aiming to improve automatic emotion recognition. Current research heavily utilizes graph neural networks to analyze the complex interdependencies between brain regions (in EEG data) or to model dynamic emotional changes in video and speech. This work has significant implications for improving human-computer interaction, mental health diagnosis through passive monitoring of social media, and even detecting cognitive impairment via facial emotion analysis, offering valuable insights into both the neuroscience of emotion and its practical applications.
