Employee Attrition

Employee attrition, the loss of employees from an organization, is a significant problem impacting productivity and profitability. Current research focuses on predicting attrition using machine learning algorithms like AdaBoost, SVM, RandomForest, and ensemble/deep neural networks, often incorporating explainable AI techniques (e.g., SHAP values) to understand model predictions and inform retention strategies. This work aims to improve the accuracy of attrition prediction and provide actionable insights for human resource management, ultimately leading to better employee retention and organizational success. Furthermore, research extends beyond human resources, exploring attrition in multi-agent systems and recommender systems, highlighting the broad applicability of attrition modeling across diverse fields.
