Ethnic media, crucial for connecting diaspora communities, is undergoing transformation through the integration of artificial intelligence (AI). Current research focuses on using AI for tasks like machine translation, bias detection in news articles and videos (employing techniques like computer vision and natural language processing), and even AI-driven content generation. This work aims to improve the accessibility, accuracy, and fairness of ethnic media while also exploring the ethical implications of AI's increasing role in shaping narratives and public opinion.
