Experiential Learning
Experiential learning research explores how individuals and artificial intelligence agents can learn effectively through direct experience, aiming to improve skill acquisition and decision-making. Current research focuses on developing AI agents that autonomously learn and apply experience, often leveraging large language models and reinforcement learning techniques to achieve this. This work has implications for diverse fields, including education (e.g., improving social skills training and cybersecurity education), robotics (e.g., enabling more robust and natural locomotion), and human-computer interaction (e.g., designing more effective AI-powered learning tools). The ultimate goal is to create more efficient and engaging learning environments for both humans and AI systems.
