Expert Curated GraMMaR
Expert-curated grammar research focuses on improving the accuracy and efficiency of grammatical error correction and detection systems, particularly for languages beyond English, and enhancing their ability to provide insightful feedback. Current research employs various approaches, including transformer-based language models like BART and MarianMT, and explores the use of linguistic formalisms and efficient parsing algorithms to reduce reliance on computationally expensive neural methods. This work has significant implications for language education, natural language processing, and the development of more inclusive and accessible language technologies.
