Face Forgery
Face forgery, the creation of realistic fake videos and images of individuals, is a growing concern, driving research focused on developing robust detection methods. Current research emphasizes improving the generalization and robustness of detection models, often employing transformer-based architectures, multimodal learning (combining visual, audio, and textual data), and techniques like contrastive learning and domain adaptation to address the ever-evolving nature of forgery techniques. The ability to accurately detect and localize face forgeries is crucial for mitigating the spread of misinformation, protecting individual identities, and ensuring the integrity of digital media.
