Fetal Head Ultrasound
Fetal head ultrasound aims to assess fetal health and development by imaging the fetal head, primarily focusing on biometric measurements and anomaly detection. Current research heavily utilizes deep learning, employing convolutional neural networks, generative adversarial networks (GANs), and diffusion models to automate tasks like plane detection, biometric estimation, and anomaly identification from 2D and 3D ultrasound data. These advancements offer the potential for improved accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility of fetal assessments, particularly in resource-limited settings, by reducing reliance on manual measurements and expert interpretation. The ultimate goal is to enhance prenatal care and improve pregnancy outcomes.
