Fundamental Diagram

Fundamental diagrams visually represent complex relationships, primarily focusing on improving the understanding and generation of these diagrams across various domains. Current research emphasizes developing and evaluating models, including large vision-language models and neural networks, for automatically generating diagrams from text or other data sources, as well as for interpreting and reasoning with existing diagrams, particularly in scientific and mathematical contexts. This work aims to improve efficiency in tasks ranging from scientific communication and education to automated problem-solving in fields like robotics and traffic flow prediction, ultimately enhancing human-computer interaction and knowledge representation.
