Fuzzy Cognitive Map
Fuzzy Cognitive Maps (FCMs) are computational models representing causal relationships between concepts within a system, often used to model complex systems and decision-making processes. Current research focuses on improving FCM construction and analysis, including automated extraction from text data using large language models, developing convergence theorems for enhanced model stability, and integrating FCMs with other techniques like agent-based modeling and machine learning algorithms for improved accuracy and interpretability. This work is significant for advancing explainable AI, enabling more transparent and trustworthy AI systems, and finding applications in diverse fields such as healthcare, engineering, and social sciences.
