Fuzzy Set
Fuzzy sets are mathematical tools designed to represent vagueness and uncertainty, extending beyond the strict binary classifications of classical sets. Current research focuses on expanding fuzzy set theory to handle more complex forms of uncertainty, such as hesitant fuzzy sets and picture fuzzy sets, and developing novel algorithms for applications like gene co-regulation identification and multi-criteria decision making. These advancements are improving the interpretability and performance of fuzzy systems in various fields, including artificial intelligence, data analysis, and health monitoring, by enabling more nuanced modeling of real-world phenomena.
