Gender Difference
Research on gender differences investigates how biological sex influences various aspects of human biology, behavior, and societal experiences. Current studies utilize machine learning models, including convolutional neural networks and logistic regression, to analyze neuroimaging data, ECG signals, and textual data (e.g., from social media or scientific publications) to identify and quantify these differences. Findings highlight the importance of considering sex as a biological variable in medical diagnoses, algorithmic fairness, and social analyses, revealing biases in existing models and datasets that may lead to unequal outcomes. Addressing these biases is crucial for developing more accurate and equitable technologies and social policies.
