Ghost Free High Dynamic Range
Ghost-free High Dynamic Range (HDR) imaging aims to create realistic, artifact-free HDR images from multiple, often misaligned, low dynamic range (LDR) images, overcoming challenges like motion blur and saturation. Current research heavily utilizes deep learning, employing transformer networks, convolutional neural networks (CNNs), and diffusion models to achieve accurate alignment and fusion of LDR images, often incorporating attention mechanisms and multi-scale feature processing to address ghosting artifacts. These advancements significantly improve the quality and efficiency of HDR image reconstruction, impacting fields like photography, computer vision, and virtual reality by enabling more realistic and detailed image rendering.
