Global challenges, primarily encompassing climate change and sustainable development, are being addressed through innovative applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Current research focuses on using these techniques for predictive modeling of climate impacts (e.g., on agriculture and resource management), optimizing resource allocation for conservation efforts, and assessing the environmental footprint of AI itself. This work holds significant potential for informing policy decisions, improving resource management strategies, and ultimately contributing to more sustainable and resilient societies.
