Grammar Design
Grammar design explores the creation and optimization of formal grammars for various applications, aiming to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Current research focuses on adapting grammars for AI systems, particularly large language models, by minimizing token usage for faster processing and aligning grammar structures with principles of efficient computation like the free-energy principle. This work has implications for improving the performance of AI in code generation and human-robot interaction, as well as enhancing the efficiency of evolutionary computation algorithms that rely on grammar-guided search.
