Current efforts focus on developing models that integrate large language models for natural language understanding with advanced techniques like differentiable scene representations and dual-level control for efficient action planning and execution, as well as exploring alternative input modalities such as hand pose tracking via acoustic sensing. This research is significant for advancing embodied AI and improving the usability and accessibility of smart home technology, potentially leading to more intuitive and helpful home automation systems.
