Research focuses on enhancing model-based reinforcement learning algorithms, particularly by adapting the prediction horizon to mitigate errors in complex simulations, such as those involving physical contact in robotics. These advancements improve the efficiency and accuracy of control systems for multi-robot coordination and autonomous systems, with applications ranging from multi-robot coverage path planning to quadrotor control.
