HSI Datasets

Hyperspectral image (HSI) datasets are collections of images capturing information across a wide range of wavelengths, offering rich spectral detail for various applications. Current research focuses on addressing challenges like limited training data by developing novel model architectures, such as transformer-based networks and U-Net variations, and employing techniques like single-direction tuning to leverage pre-trained models and improve classification accuracy. These advancements are crucial for improving the performance of HSI analysis in diverse fields, including remote sensing, where accurate and efficient processing of large datasets is essential for applications such as land cover mapping and change detection. Furthermore, the development of large-scale, realistic HSI datasets, incorporating detailed human-scene interactions, is driving progress in motion synthesis and related areas.
