Human Curriculum
Human curriculum research investigates how the sequencing and structure of learning materials impact both human and machine learning outcomes. Current work focuses on developing algorithms that automatically generate or optimize curricula, often leveraging large language models and incorporating principles from human cognitive science, such as the "easy-to-hard" progression and the impact of task interleaving. This research aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of both human education and machine learning, with implications for designing better educational materials and training more robust AI systems.
