Human Mesh Recovery
Human mesh recovery (HMR) aims to reconstruct a 3D human body mesh from images or videos, a crucial task in computer vision with applications in animation, robotics, and human-computer interaction. Current research focuses on improving accuracy and robustness, particularly in challenging scenarios like occlusion and multi-person scenes, using various approaches including transformer networks, diffusion models, and optimization-based methods. These advancements leverage techniques such as multi-view fusion, scene context integration, and probabilistic modeling to address inherent ambiguities in single-image reconstruction, leading to more accurate and realistic 3D human representations.
