Humanoid Agent

Humanoid agent research focuses on creating realistic virtual humans capable of complex interactions, encompassing speech, gestures, and object manipulation in response to natural language instructions. Current efforts leverage large language models integrated with multimodal data (audio, video) and hierarchical control architectures that combine low-level motor skills with high-level planning based on image-based rewards, enabling open-vocabulary physical skill learning. This work is significant for advancing our understanding of human behavior through simulation and has potential applications in areas such as virtual assistants, human-computer interaction, and social science research.
