Current efforts utilize multimodal approaches, combining imaging data like retinal fundus photographs with clinical factors such as age, gender, and genetic markers (e.g., SNPs), often employing deep learning models for classification and prediction. This refined subtyping approach aims to move beyond a one-size-fits-all treatment strategy, potentially leading to more personalized and effective hypertension management.
