Image Coherence
Image coherence, encompassing the consistent representation of visual information across space and time, is a crucial area of research impacting various fields. Current efforts focus on improving coherence in diverse applications, from enhancing low-light videos using wavelet-based 4D lookup tables to improving the accuracy of 3D object reconstruction and human pose estimation through techniques like stereo co-keypoint estimation and multi-modal fusion. These advancements leverage both geometric and textural information, often employing novel algorithms like proximal alternating minimization and attention-based mechanisms to achieve better consistency and reduce artifacts. The resulting improvements in image and video quality, along with more robust 3D models, have significant implications for computer vision, augmented reality, and other related domains.
