Image Deformation
Image deformation research focuses on accurately and efficiently manipulating images to reflect real-world transformations, such as those caused by object movement or changes in viewpoint. Current efforts concentrate on developing robust models, often employing implicit neural representations, variational autoencoders, or learned deformation fields, to handle complex, multimodal deformations and achieve high-fidelity results even with limited supervision. These advancements are crucial for improving image super-resolution, data augmentation techniques, and applications like 3D modeling and image editing, ultimately enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of computer vision systems.
