Image Encryption
Image encryption aims to secure visual data by transforming it into an unreadable format, accessible only with a decryption key. Current research focuses on developing efficient and secure encryption methods, often leveraging neural networks (like Vision Transformers and ConvMixers), chaotic maps, and fully homomorphic encryption to achieve high security while minimizing computational overhead and preserving image utility for downstream tasks like classification. These advancements are crucial for protecting sensitive visual information in various applications, including medical imaging, cloud computing, and secure communication systems, particularly in light of increasing concerns about data privacy and security.
