Immune Repertoire
Immune repertoires, the collections of antibodies and T-cell receptors within an individual, are being intensely studied to understand immune responses and develop new diagnostics and therapies. Current research focuses on developing sophisticated computational models, including generative models like variational autoencoders and language models adapted for biological sequences, to analyze the vast and complex data generated by immune repertoire sequencing. These analyses aim to identify disease-associated immune receptor sequences, predict antibody structure and affinity, and improve the accuracy of immune-based diagnostics and prognostics, ultimately advancing personalized medicine and immunotherapies.
