Research on the Indian context is exploring how societal biases and cultural nuances impact various technological applications, particularly in artificial intelligence. Current studies focus on analyzing consumer behavior, detecting and mitigating biases in large language models (LLMs) using techniques like sentiment analysis and cascade ensemble learning, and evaluating the efficacy of AI in legal and healthcare domains. This work is crucial for developing more equitable and culturally sensitive AI systems, addressing critical issues like misrepresentation of Indian culture in generative AI and improving the accuracy of AI-driven predictions in areas such as suicide risk assessment.
