Industrial Human Robot
Industrial human-robot collaboration (HRI) focuses on designing and implementing robots that safely and effectively work alongside humans in industrial settings, improving efficiency and worker experience. Current research emphasizes developing robust perception systems, such as gaze detection and pose forecasting using deep learning models (including convolutional neural networks and graph convolutional networks), to enable robots to understand and react to human actions and intentions in real-time. This work is crucial for advancing safe and intuitive HRI, leading to improved automation in manufacturing and other industrial processes, and informing the development of more human-centered robotic systems.
