Instance Query
Instance query, a core concept in machine learning, focuses on leveraging individual data points (instances) within larger datasets to improve model performance and interpretability. Current research emphasizes developing efficient algorithms and model architectures, such as transformer-based models and multiple instance learning (MIL), to effectively handle instance-level information, particularly in scenarios with high-dimensional data or limited annotations. This work is significant for advancing various applications, including medical image analysis, natural language processing, and video object segmentation, by enabling more accurate, efficient, and explainable models.
