Instructional Design
Instructional design focuses on creating effective learning experiences by optimizing teaching methods and materials. Current research emphasizes personalized learning, leveraging AI models like large language models (LLMs) and reinforcement learning algorithms to generate customized lesson plans, assess content quality, and even predict student performance. This work aims to improve learning outcomes through data-driven approaches, automating aspects of curriculum development and assessment while addressing challenges like ensuring fairness and mitigating potential biases in AI-generated content. The ultimate goal is to enhance educational effectiveness and accessibility across diverse learning contexts.
