Integrated Sensing
Integrated sensing, communication, and computation (ISCC) aims to synergistically combine these three functionalities for enhanced efficiency and performance in wireless systems, particularly within the context of 6G networks. Current research emphasizes developing frameworks that jointly optimize sensing, communication, and computation resources, often employing deep learning models like neural networks and transformers for tasks such as channel estimation, target tracking, and user association. This integrated approach promises significant improvements in latency, energy consumption, and data processing capabilities, impacting various applications including edge AI, robotics, and environmental monitoring.
