Intelligent Canvas

"Intelligent Canvas" research explores using AI to enhance image and video creation and manipulation, moving beyond traditional tools by integrating generative models and intuitive interfaces. Current work focuses on developing novel algorithms, such as diffusion models and variational autoencoders, to achieve high-resolution outpainting, precise image editing with layered representations, and the generation of diverse visual content from text or other inputs, including sound and even the structure of woven fabrics. This field is significant for its potential to improve accessibility for visually impaired individuals, advance artistic expression through AI-assisted tools, and revolutionize data visualization and analysis through interactive, exploratory interfaces.
