Intent Based
Intent-based networking aims to automate network management by allowing users to specify high-level objectives (intents) rather than low-level configurations. Current research focuses on using large language models (LLMs) and multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL) to translate these intents into actionable network policies, addressing challenges like intent conflict resolution and efficient resource allocation. This approach promises to significantly improve network efficiency and scalability, particularly in complex environments like 5G and 6G networks, by reducing human intervention and enabling more dynamic and adaptive network operations.
