Intention Recognition
Intention recognition aims to infer a user's goals and actions from observable behaviors, primarily to enable seamless human-robot collaboration. Current research heavily utilizes machine learning, particularly deep learning models like Graph Neural Networks and Multimodal fusion architectures, often incorporating diverse data sources such as gaze, posture, speech, and tactile sensor readings to improve accuracy and robustness. This field is crucial for advancing human-robot interaction in various applications, including assistive robotics, manufacturing, and underwater operations, by enabling more natural and efficient collaboration.
