Japanese Business Domain
Research on the Japanese business domain focuses on developing and evaluating large language models (LLMs) specifically trained on Japanese financial and business texts, addressing the scarcity of such resources compared to English. Current efforts concentrate on creating high-quality datasets for training and benchmarking these models, employing instruction tuning and continual pre-training techniques to improve domain adaptation and accuracy in tasks like question answering and sentiment analysis. This work is significant for advancing natural language processing (NLP) in low-resource languages and for providing valuable tools for financial analysis and business applications in Japan.
