Jet Flame
Jet flames, characterized by their turbulent nature and potential for significant hazards in industrial settings, are a focus of ongoing research aimed at improving safety and efficiency. Current studies utilize computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and deep learning models, including generative adversarial networks (GANs) and UNet architectures, to simulate and analyze flame characteristics such as geometry and chemical kinetics, often leveraging infrared imaging for data acquisition. These advancements enable more accurate risk assessments and optimized designs for combustion systems, particularly in large gas engines, by providing detailed insights into flame behavior and improving predictive capabilities.
