Kinematic Parameter
Kinematic parameters describe the motion of objects or systems without considering the forces causing that motion. Current research focuses on accurately estimating these parameters in diverse applications, from robotic control and animation to human motion analysis in sports and rehabilitation, employing techniques like Gaussian processes, generative adversarial networks, and various deep learning architectures including transformers and convolutional neural networks. These advancements improve the precision and efficiency of motion capture, robotic manipulation, and biomechanical modeling, leading to better prosthetics, more effective rehabilitation strategies, and enhanced understanding of human and animal movement.
