Lane Graph
Lane graphs are topological representations of road networks, crucial for autonomous driving and high-definition map creation. Current research focuses on automatically generating these graphs from various data sources, including sparse vehicle observations, aerial imagery, and onboard camera video, employing transformer networks, graph neural networks, and diffusion models to achieve accurate and robust lane connectivity and topology. This work is significant because accurate lane graph estimation is essential for safe and efficient autonomous navigation, improving both the reliability and scalability of self-driving systems.
