Large-scale adoption of new technologies, from vaccines to assistive listening devices and AI tools, hinges on understanding and addressing user acceptance. Current research focuses on identifying key factors influencing adoption, such as perceived usefulness and ease of use (Technology Acceptance Model), cultural influences (e.g., religion, ethnicity, trust), and the need for transparent and explainable systems (Explainable AI).
