Lifting Task
Lifting tasks, crucial in numerous industries, are a major focus of research aiming to reduce musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and improve worker safety. Current research emphasizes real-time posture monitoring and risk assessment using computer vision, machine learning (particularly LSTM and other neural networks), and wearable sensor technologies to provide immediate feedback and prevent injuries. This involves developing sophisticated algorithms for action recognition, motion prediction, and intent estimation, often integrated into exoskeletons or other assistive devices to reduce physical strain. These advancements hold significant potential for improving workplace safety and reducing the economic burden associated with MSDs.
