Limited Sensing
Limited sensing research focuses on developing robust systems and algorithms that effectively operate with incomplete or restricted sensory information. Current efforts concentrate on decentralized control strategies, particularly for multi-agent systems like robot swarms and drone teams, often employing model predictive control and novel algorithms like frontier range bug algorithms to navigate and accomplish tasks. This field is crucial for advancing autonomous systems in challenging environments, improving efficiency in data-driven applications like aeroelastic mode detection, and enabling privacy-preserving data analytics through minimal data collection.
