Long COVID
Long COVID, the persistent symptoms experienced by some individuals after a COVID-19 infection, is a complex condition requiring comprehensive research to understand its diverse manifestations and long-term effects. Current research focuses on identifying predictive factors for various Long COVID symptoms using machine learning algorithms, including deep learning models for image analysis (e.g., CT scans) and analysis of electronic health records, as well as exploring the use of natural language processing to analyze textual data like social media posts and research articles. These efforts aim to improve diagnosis, risk stratification, and ultimately, the development of effective treatments and management strategies for this significant post-infection syndrome.
