Long Form Deletion

Long-form deletion, the unexpected omission of sequential data elements in models processing lengthy inputs, is a significant challenge across various domains, particularly in automatic speech recognition and machine learning. Current research focuses on mitigating this issue through techniques like jointly modeling diverse speaker groups in ASR, developing robust algorithms for handling data deletions in machine unlearning, and employing deep learning methods for detecting and correcting deletions in other data types such as text and marker codes. Addressing long-form deletion is crucial for improving the reliability and usability of numerous applications, ranging from speech-to-text systems to data privacy-preserving machine learning models.
