Magnetic Actuation
Magnetic actuation is a rapidly developing field focused on remotely controlling the movement and configuration of robots, particularly small-scale devices, using magnetic fields. Current research emphasizes closed-loop control systems, often incorporating advanced algorithms like Extended Kalman Filters and gradient descent optimization, to achieve precise and stable manipulation in challenging environments such as the human body. This technology shows significant promise for minimally invasive medical procedures, including endoluminal surgery and rehabilitation, as well as for creating adaptable and modular robotic systems for various applications.
