Massive Open Online Course
Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) aim to democratize education by providing large-scale access to online learning materials. Current research focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence, particularly large language models (LLMs) and graph neural networks, to personalize the learning experience through improved recommendation systems, automated grading, and early identification of at-risk students. These advancements are improving the efficiency and effectiveness of MOOCs, impacting both the learning outcomes of students and the ability of educators to manage large online classes. Furthermore, research is exploring multimodal data analysis to better understand student engagement and emotional responses within the online learning environment.
