The University of Michigan's Robotics program focuses on developing a robust and equitable undergraduate curriculum emphasizing embodied intelligence and human-robot interaction (HRI). Research efforts center on creating scalable and accessible educational resources, including low-cost robotic platforms and personalized learning frameworks designed to overcome instructor shortages and cater to diverse student backgrounds. This work aims to increase accessibility to robotics education, fostering a more diverse and skilled workforce in the field while advancing pedagogical approaches for teaching complex robotics concepts.
