Current efforts concentrate on developing lightweight, efficient architectures (e.g., using U-Nets, transformers, and compressed models) and algorithms (e.g., reinforcement learning, knowledge distillation, and efficient pruning techniques) to enable real-time performance for tasks like image processing, video compression, and intelligent user interface automation.
